Zion Covenant Church to Show Viewing of “Walking While Black”

The Love Mercy Do Justice Ministry of Zion Covenant Church will sponsor a public viewing of the documentary “Walking While Black: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer” on Friday, November 13, at 6:30 at Zion Covenant Church.

“Walking While Black” is a documentary exploring the challenges law enforcement faces while policing in communities of color. Featuring interviews with peace officers, faith leaders, educators, activists and others, the film offers an inspiring blueprint to end racial profiling and heal our communities. ”WALKING WHILE BLACK: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer” was produced for audiences to engage in conversations to improve police-community relations, teach anti-racism, and help people to learn how to love each other.

The viewing, in collaboration with the Chautauqua County Sheriff Department, will be offered at Zion Covenant Church, 520 E. Fairmount Avenue. The on-site viewing will accommodate 100 people. Individuals are also able to view via a zoom link as well. Register for either online or in-person viewing on the Zion Covenant Church website www.zioncov.org or call the church at (716) 488-9310.
