This season has challenged and stretched the imaginations of many organizations and performing groups to overcome new and restricting obstacles. Educational, non-profit organizations, such as the Chautauqua Regional Youth Symphony (CRYS) are among the list feeling the effects of today’s pandemic culture.
In unwavering determination, the board has come up with a plan to keep all of their students engaged, despite the numerous challenges. In the upcoming weeks, Music Director, Bryan Eckenrode will present three virtual masterclasses to students on various topics that are essential to emerging musicians and string students.
These masterclasses will be presented over a Zoom Webinar, which will allow students to connect with and learn from Eckenrode directly from the safety and comfort of their own home. They will also be able to submit questions and interact as if it were a live masterclass setting. The three masterclasses will be on different evenings and will cover different topics.
