Congratulations to Keith Charles, the Jamestown Gazette’s first ever, male Valentine’s Day “Unscramble the Words” contest winner. “I’m a dedicated Jamestown Gazette reader,” Keith said when claiming his prizes at the Gazette last Friday. “I especially love the ‘Round Town page.”
This year’s prizes tallied up to more than $350 worth of products, goods and services, meals, candy and entertainment, supplied by 16 of the Jamestown Gazette’s most faithful local advertisers.
Keith works as a security officer at Jamestown’s City Hall in the Workers’ Compensation Division. He has traveled extensively over the years, loves his grandchildren who do not live in Jamestown but returned to Jamestown recently to live near his parents. “I love the four seasons here,” he said. “This is a great place to live.”
Keith’s travels included a term abroad in 1980 and 1981 in Belgium as a teenager when he was awarded the honor of being a Rotary Exchange Student. “That was an experience I will never forget,” he said.
Jamestown Gazette readers are invited to keep their eyes on the next prizes in the Gazette’s upcoming Mothers Day and Fathers Day contests. The prize baskets are always filled to overflowing with goodies of every sort and the best wishes of the Jamestown Gazette and our advertisers.
