For the last month or so, “Unfriended” has been considered one of the most talked about movies on the internet – mainly because it takes place on the internet. The entire film is placed in front of your eyes in the form of a personal computer owned by Miss Blaire Lily.

A group chat on Skype with her high school friends becomes haunted by a mysterious figure, an avatar going by the domain name of billie227, a profile which belonged to a dead girl- Laura Barnes.

I’ll spare you the details, but here’s a tip for you. If you ever got a Facebook message from the ghost of a dead friend, I doubt you’d ever want to respond to it. Well not only did Blair do exactly that, but she did the worst thing that you could ever do to a ghost, and that’s unfriend it.

The once casual group chat is quickly catapulted into a more “Saw” like situation. And much like The Jigsaw Killer, billie227 likes to play games. Billie’s game is full of hidden secrets, ticking clocks, gore, lies, deceit and an untapped desire for revenge!

Here’s another twist, if Blair and her friends refuse to keep playing and decide to log off, they die. So to you I say, God bless the dead, but don’t unfriend them.
