The Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy will hold its 2022 annual meeting at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celoron on Wednesday, August 3rd from 5-7pm, which is open to both CWC members and the public. This year’s featured speaker will be author, photographer, biologist and CWC Ecological Restoration Manager, Twan Leenders, who will be presenting “CWC’s Vision and Strategy for Water Quality, Habitat Protection and Climate Resiliency Across the Chautauqua Region.” In addition to the presentation, attendees will also learn about current and upcoming CWC conservation programs and activities and participate in CWC’s annual election of board directors. This year’s new and renewing nominees are Kaitlyn Bentley, Janis Bowman, Dennis Collins, Christine Flanders, Rebecca Nystrom, Craig Seger, Mary Beth Southwick and Jeanne Wiebenga.
The cost of attendance is $40 per person, which includes refreshments, heavy hors d’oeuvres and one drink ticket to the bar during the outdoor welcome reception from 5-6pm and entrance to the meeting which will begin at 6pm. There will also be a cash bar on site. Reservations are required. RSVPs and payments are due by 5pm on July 29th.
