The Relief Zone Community Youth Center (TRZ), will host its annual Memorial Tree Lighting Event to honor the community’s loved ones on Wednesday November 30th at 6pm at TRZ. The public is invited to attend this free holiday event with refreshments to-go. To sponsor a tree in memory of a loved one contact TRZ at (716)569-2614. The winner of our “Let’s Go Buffalo” Fall Raffle will also be drawn at the event.

The donations received will benefit The Relief Zone’s Endowment Fund. The Relief Zone Endowment Fund is a vital gift that keeps on giving. This fund is permanently invested toward growth, income, and sustainability of TRZ’s future. The critical fund was established in August of 2008, when the Board of Directors recognized that the organization necessitated a long-range financial plan to sustain The Relief Zone. The purpose of the endowment fund is to support the charitable efforts of TRZ and its impact on the Town of Carroll’s youth and families now and into the future.

“Our Christmas Memorial Tree Event and Lighting Ceremony gives us the chance to embrace this extraordinary holiday season as well as acknowledge our community’s loved ones, and businesses, who support our proud tradition of sharing our faith as we serve our community,” said Lisa Lyon, executive director, The Relief Zone. “We have many families and businesses who sponsor a tree year after year in memory of their loved one. We are truly grateful for the generous support of our patrons and community. Our Youth Center is a community treasurer and we encourage parents, their children, sponsors, neighbors, and friends to join us in celebration of their loved ones and the spirit of the holiday season.”
