Bon Journey will perform their Tribute to (2) Great American Rock Bands, Bon Jovi and Journey, Saturday, October 14, 2023, 8 PM at the historic Struthers Library Theatre, Warren, PA! Since 2006, Bon Journey has performed hundreds of shows for tens of thousands of fans across 15 states. They’re America’s favorite original tribute to the iconic music of Bon Jovi and Journey. Bon Journey brings the hits of your favorite super groups to life in a way only they can which has made them one of the most successful tribute bands in the nation. Covering the hits of two of the most popular American rock bands in history, such Bon Jovi hits as:” Livin’ on a Prayer,” “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “Always,” “Bad Medicine” and more and Journey hits: “Don’t Stop Believin’,” Any Way You Want It,” “Open Arms,” “Wheel in the Sky,” and more, the band quickly established itself as one of the premier party bands in the city of Pittsburgh and found success on the national level touring a variety of east coast cities and venues. There have been line-up changes along the way-today’s lineup is Tony DiCesaro (Lead Vocals), Mike Vargo (Drums, Vocals), Jeff Morris (Keyboards, Lead Vocals), Pat Duff (Bass, Vocals), George McGrew (Guitars, Vocals). Bon Jovi is an American rock band formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey. The band currently consists of vocalist, Jon Bon Jovi; keyboardist, David Bryan; drummer, Tico Torres; guitarist, Phil X; and bassist Hugh McDonald.. Bon Jovi has released 15 studio albums, five compilations and three live albums. They have sold more than 120 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling American rock bands, and performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans. The platinum albums, Have a Nice Day (2005) and Lost Highway (2007) had elements of country music in some of the songs, including the 2006 single, “Who Says You Can’t Go Home”, which won the band a Grammy Award and became the first single by a rock band to reach No. 1 on the country charts. Bon Jovi was inducted into the UK Music Hall-of-Fame in 2006, and into the US Rock & Roll Hall-of-Fame in 2018. The band received the Award of Merit at the American Music Awards in 2004, and Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora were inducted into the Songwriters Hall-of-Fame in 2009.
Journey is also an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1973 by former members of Santana, Steve Miller Band, and Frumious Bandersnatch. The current 2023 touring lineup of Journey features lead guitarist, Neal Schon; keyboardist & rhythm guitarist, Jonathan Cain; keyboardist, Jason Derlatka; lead vocalist, Arnel Pineda; drummer, Deen Castronovo and bassist, Todd Jensen. Journey had their biggest commercial success between 1978 and 1987, when Steve Perry was lead vocalist; they released a series of hit songs, including “Don’t Stop Believin'” (1981), which became the most covered, karaoked, and parodied song in modern music history. From baseball to Broadway, Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” has become a national anthem of sorts – and with digital sales at almost four and a half million, it is officially the most downloaded song ever recorded in the 20th century. Journey was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall-of-Fame in 2017.
