Sarah Niebank now offers Tong Ren energy therapy classes from noon to 1 p.m. on Mondays at Prendergast Library. This no-hands method of healing is described as “acupuncture without needles.”
According to the practitioner, the intention is opening blockages in the body’s natural flow of bioelectricity, or Chi (Qi), that have manifested as pain, illness, diseases, and chronic conditions.
This blend of Eastern wisdom and Western anatomy and physiology was developed by Tom Tam, a world-renowned acupuncturist living in Boston.
