Canadian Celtic band The Town Pants will perform with Jamestown’s The Probables in first live event at The Reg in over 17 months.
Reg Lenna Center for The Arts welcomes audiences back to their theater for an August 20 concert featuring Vancouver’s The Town Pants with special guests, The Probables. Doors open at 6 p.m. The Probables play at 7 and The Town Pants play at 8 p.m.
Formed over 20 years ago, Vancouver-based The Town Pants have performed in venues as small as local pubs all the way to outdoor stages at international festivals. The band regularly plays The Great Blue Heron Festival and headlined Reg Lenna Center for The Arts’ 2019 Third Street Beer & Wine Festival. Jamestown, New York’s The Probables are a rhythm-driven folkcana band. Though formed in 2016, the individual band members have been performing for decades in a number of other ensembles. The Great Blue Heron Festival veterans fuse Americana, Folk, Contemporary, Bluegrass and Rock styles for a unique blend of music.

Tickets for the event are $25 before fees and are general admission. Vaccinated patrons are not required to wear masks, though admission requirements are subject to change. The event is sponsored by Matric Group and Clarion Pointe Hotel and made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and The New York State Legislature.
