Make your pet the star of our show! The first ever Chautauqua County Humane Society Pet Film Festival is September 25th, 2021, hosted by local comedy duo Karate Sleepover. This will be an in-person and virtual event, and we are inviting the community to submit their funniest, cutest, and most creative videos of your best friend doing the things that make you smile.

Our panel of volunteer judges will be looking for the best videos in categories like Pet Tricks, Funny Moments, Short Stories of a minute or less, Cutest Dog, Cutest Cat, and Cutest Pet. Be sure your video is high resolution so it can be shown at the Media Studio of the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts. Videos will be premiered during the film festival and winners will receive the highly prized Pawscar trophies in those categories as well as some surprise categories.

When you register you will receive a window cling in the mail to boast of their celebrity status. Tickets will also be available to attend the event in person. See the rules below for specifics regarding video quality.

We will be collecting submissions via Google Drive through 11:59pm, Friday, September 17th. The entry fee is a $25 donation that will directly benefit the pets at the Chautauqua County Humane Society. See Entry Rules Below. When entry is submitted you are agreeing that you have read and understand all contest rules.

Special thanks go out to Happy Hounds Hotel & Day Spa, Media One Radio Group, WNY News Now, Karate Sleepover, Digitell Inc., and The Reg Lenna Center For The Arts for making the Pet Film Festival Possible.
