Are you interested in grazing, an experienced grazier, or just fascinated by new technology? Join CCE and DGA on October 6th, 2023 from 12pm to 1pm, for a webinar to discover the PaddockTrac technology! This technology is still under testing, but is a promising tool for future data-driven pasture management.
Participants will learn how PaddockTrac, developed by Dr. Stacey Hamilton and Ryan Lock at the University of Missouri, has the potential to unleash the power of data-driven pasture management to boost productivity and say goodbye to the guesswork in grazing strategy. This innovative sensor, mounted on your ATV, automatically measures forage height, growth rates, and pasture cover. A Bluetooth-enabled sensor connects to a smartphone app for real-time data analysis, ranks your paddocks, and provides actionable insights to make proactive decisions.
In this webinar, Dr. Stacey Hamilton will give a 30-minute presentation on how this tool works, why this technology was developed, and where it is going. We will have an extensive Q&A session, allowing participants to have an open space to ask questions and share their experiences.
