Thanks to an ongoing partnership with one of the country’s leading online universities, New York and Pennsylvania residents enrolled at SUNY Jamestown Community College, now can enjoy a lower tuition rate when they transfer to Bellevue University.

The schools’ Premier Partner arrangement means Jamestown Community College graduates are able to bring their entire associate degree with them, putting them nearly halfway through their bachelor’s degree. All bachelor’s degree-seeking students who transfer through the partnership will be eligible for a preferred $350 credit hour tuition rate.

“This partnership creates transfer opportunities that add value to students’ lives and supports the health of their community,” Jim Nekuda, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for Bellevue University, said. “Students who transfer to Bellevue University can learn online. They don’t have to leave their hometowns, their families or their jobs to commute to a distant campus.”

“Expanding on our longstanding transfer partnership as we are with this updated agreement is good for our students, and timely as we continue to adjust our lives to pandemic conditions. JCC graduates who wish to stay in their home communities while continuing their college education are able to do so at a lower cost thanks to this new arrangement,” Daniel DeMarte, Jamestown Community College President, said. “We will continue to strengthen transfer partnerships like this one with Bellevue, for the benefit of our students and provide quicker, less expensive, and more convenient pathways to the next degree and a career.”

Bellevue University has one full-time Relationship Manager on campus serving students. The Relationship Manager is responsible for coordinating and building programming to serve Jamestown Community College students. Stacey Tanner can be contacted by emailing or by calling 716.338.1400.
