Over 40 alumni of the percussion department, along with 10 current students majoring in Music Performance, Music Education and Sound Recording Technology and current faculty from the State University of New York at Fredonia School of Music, are joining together on Saturday, October 21, to celebrate Dr. Kay Stonefelt, recipient of two prestigious awards: Lifetime Achievement in Education by the Percussive Arts Society and the rank of SUNY Distinguished Professor.

Pre-concert music will be performed at various places around campus – under the awning at the main entrance of Mason Hall, the tent area outside of the Williams Center and the Williams Center patio near Tim Hortons, beginning at 3 p.m. Food trucks are expected to be stationed near the Williams Center.

The final concert will be performed at 4 p.m. in Rosch Recital Hall.
All events are free and open to the public.
