Miner for Governor
Stephanie Miner is running for Governor with the Serve America Movement. She is an attorney. She attended High School in Homer, New York and was President of her senior class. She graduated from Syracuse University in 1992 with a B.A. degree in journalism and political science. In 1999, she received her J.D. degree from the University at Buffalo Law School in 1999. After, she worked at Blitman and King LLP, a Syracuse law firm until 2009.
Miner was elected to Syracuse city council. She ran for mayor of the city, becoming the first woman to serve as Mayor of Syracuse from 2012 to 2014. She also served as the Co-Chair of the New York State Democratic Committee from 2012 to 2014.
