For over a decade, the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Jamestown Community College has hosted the Women in Networking (WIN) Chautauqua program every month. This program is for female business owners and women working in the business sector.
While this event usually takes place in person, during the COVID19 pandemic, women are meeting via zoom to exchange ideas, experiences, and address challenging issues. Each person briefly shares their latest business news and then participates in a learning opportunity with a presentation on a topic of interest. The SBDC has helped to build productive business relationships that benefit women throughout the region with this program. To make a reservation or for more information on this monthly program, contact the SBDC at 716-338-1024 or go to our website at www.sbdcjcc.org.
The next WIN program will take place on Thursday, January 13 at 12pm. Our speaker, Taylor Scott will discuss technology tips for small businesses. Taylor is a real estate agent with ERA/Team VP and serves on the board of the Chautauqua County Land Bank and YWCA. She is also an affiliate marketing influencer. She is passionate about implementing tech into small businesses with a focus on property management automation and the intersection of businesses and how we can promote our local area. Taylor has a demonstrated history of working in the events services industry. She is skilled in software integration and automation, search engine optimization, sales, event management, marketing and marketing strategy, all operating from a place of community.
