About Slyboots School of Music Art and Dance
The Slyboots School of Music, Art & Dance is an international touring enterprise– based in Buffalo, NY– that is dedicated to promoting positive social change through cultural arts education and performance. Every year Slyboots facilitates study abroad programs for students from Upstate New York to study drumming and dancing in West Africa. In the winter months Slyboots facilitates educational tours with drum and dance troupes from West Africa to perform at colleges, universities, schools and clubs all over the US. Slyboots has helped to expose an estimated 40,000 students to cultural arts education each year since 2005.

SLYFEST is an annual fundraiser experience designed to educate, entertain and inspire– while showcasing the work that Slyboots does in their Buffalo community and in communities around the country throughout the year. The primary objective is to promote cultural arts practitioners and world class performers to bring people of all walks of life to celebrate cultural diversity and engage in an experience of genuine cultural exchange and togetherness. In short, to bring the world together, on the sly.
