New Ticketing System Debuts for the RLCC
JAMESTOWN – Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder captivated the crowd Saturday evening, October 13 at the Reg Lenna Civic Center. The award winning Mr. Skaggs presented an evening filled with stories, anecdotes and down home bluegrass that did not disappoint.
The Reg Lenna Civic Center would like to acknowledge the very generous support of both the Gebbie Foundation and the Sheldon Foundation. “Without the generosity of Gebbie and Sheldon, booking this event would not have been possible. We look forward to announcing the next event in our series and thank them for their continued confidence and support,” said RLCC Board President, Nathan Arnone. The Reg Board also thanks Southern Tier Brewing and Dykeman-Young, Inc. for sponsoring Mr. Skaggs’ performance. Arnone added, “Financial assistance from the local foundations and our sponsors helps keep the theater from going dark. We owe all involved a debt of gratitude.”
The event also marked the first time a “virtual ticket” was used for admittance to the Civic Center. A new computerized ticketing system gives patrons the option of presenting a QR code on a mobile device screen for scanning at the door. RLCC Box Office Director, Lynn Warner commented, “We’ve computerized our ticketing and
streamlined our box office operations. We’re excited to offer an enhanced ticket buying experience for our patrons and a smoother system for entry once theatergoers arrive at the venue.”
