It’s the most wonderful time of the year in Randolph! Read on to find out the latest details about upcoming holiday events during Country Christmas weekend, December 4-6.
On Friday, December 4, the Memory Tree Ceremony takes place in the triangle park at 7:30 p.m. Purchase a memory tree ornament now through December 3 to honor a loved one’s memory or celebrate the life of someone special to you. All names will be read aloud and honored at the ceremony, and ornaments will decorate Randolph’s Christmas tree throughout the season. Cookies and cocoa will be sold to benefit Expressions Performing Arts Center’s trip to Disney. Memory Tree ornaments are $5 each and can be purchased at Yarn for Ewe, Randolph Retail Company, or online at http://enjoyrandolph.org/events/country-christmas/.
On Saturday, December 5, the United Presbyterian Church will begin their famous cookie sale at 9:00 a.m. Randolph’s Christmas Parade, sponsored and organized by Expressions Performing Arts Center, takes place on Main Street at 11:00 a.m., when Santa and Mrs. Claus will make their official arrival in Randolph!

Children are invited to see Santa and Mrs. Claus immediately following the parade at the Randolph Library. At the library, children can get their passport for the Snowflake Walk, which directs families to the different businesses downtown where children can get a small Christmas treat! From 11:30 to 1:30, horse-drawn carriages, sponsored by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, will leave from the library and take families around downtown Randolph. Make your way downtown to the Randolph Central School gymnasiums for the Annual Craft Show, which starts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Throughout the weekend, the East Randolph United Methodist Church will present their Living Nativity. Friday’s and Saturday’s performances begin at 7:00 p.m. at the church, and Saturday’s Living Nativity will feature a live camel!
On Sunday, December 6, the Randolph Fire Hall will host the Christmas Toy and Merchandise Auction at 2:00 p.m. Country Christmas concludes with a final presentation of the Living Nativity at 6:00 p.m.
