Friday, December 2:
Randolph begins Country Christmas weekend with the Memory Tree Ceremony in the Triangle Park at 7:30 p.m. Memory Tree ornaments purchased to honor a loved one’s memory or celebrate the life of someone special will adorn Randolph’s Christmas tree throughout the season. All names will be read aloud and honored at the ceremony, and ornaments will decorate Memory Tree. Ornaments are $5 each and can be purchased at participating downtown Randolph businesses or online at www.EnjoyRandolph.org.
The East Randolph United Methodist Church Living Nativity begins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with the final performance at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Saturday, December 3:
The Randolph United Presbyterian Church will host the Cookie House Christmas Bake Sale 9:00 a.m. until the baked goods are sold out!
The Randolph Central School Annual Craft Show, sponsored by the Art Club, in the gymnasia from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Randolph’s Christmas Parade, sponsored and organized by Expressions Performing Arts Center, is taking place at night this year! Line up begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building, and the parade starts at 6:00 p.m., concluding at Wadsworth Street.
Because the parade is taking place in the evening, children are invited to see Santa and Mrs. Claus before the parade from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Randolph Library. At the library, children can get their passport for the Snowflake Walk, which directs families to the different businesses downtown where children can get a small Christmas treat!
Sunday, December 6:
Country Christmas concludes with the Randolph Volunteer Fire Department’s Toy Auction, which takes place at 2:00 p.m.
