New Weekly Comedy Show in Jamestown


JAMESTOWN – On Wednesday May 23 The Forum launched “nameless!” a new weekly comedy show. The production features a mix of skits and improv with a few twists here and there. The first season in Jamestown, NY will star Brandon Abbott, Bronson Abbott, Sam Abbott and feature guest comedians throughout the year. The Forum, which is the culture center located inside Galactic Systems Headquarters is busy planning the first and second seasons.

Season one production director and producer Conor McGibboney notes, ”The great thing about a ‘nameless!’ show is that every show is different and the audience makes up the show.”

“Nameless!” opens after eight months of rehearsals which has seen the development of many new skits. Some shows will have themes like the July 18 Space Science Fiction show during a week of space related events at Galactic Systems Headquarters. Later in the season the cast will even feature an all skit show.

The production was originally directed and produced by Conor McGibboney and Arthur Simone in 2000 and ran as an open run show for two years in Louisiana. Original cast members included Aaron Baker, Adam Simone, Brandon Cubas, Casey Saba, Chad Peirce, Clarence Wethern, Jonathon Magee, Jonathan Majoue’, Marcy Jarreau, Mike Yoder, Nick Decker, Nick Watts, Phil Sevin. Currently Arthur Simone runs a comedy theater in Austin Texas called ColdTowne Theater. Marcy Jarreau and Mike Yoder have gone on to be a part of comedy movements in Lon Angeles and New Orleans respectively.

After the opening on May 23, “nameless!”improv comedy will run every Wednesday at 8pm with the doors to The Forum opening at 7:30pm. The audience is always invited to bring unique items that the actors will use as props during the show.
