October Camp at Audubon Community Nature Center is an opportunity for 4 to 12-year-olds to enjoy a day of activities that are a break from the newly started school year.

On Monday, October 9, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., before the weather turns, children can connect with the natural world as it prepares for the long winter rest.

From learning about changing trees to autumn insects and migrating birds, kids can explore the outdoors and everything fall has to offer. Through hands-on activities and lessons guided by a nature educator, October Camp at Audubon is part learning, part play, and part exploration.

Children need to dress for the weather and have extra clothing and gear for outside activities.

Cost for the day is $48 for ages 4 – 12 or $36 for Nature Center member children. Additional siblings receive a $5 discount.

Enrollment is limited. Paid reservations are required by Thursday, October 5.
