The League of Women’s Voters of Chautauqua County to Hold a Meet The Candidates Forum via a Zoom Platform on Wednesday October 14th to be broadcast starting the following day.
The League of Women Voters of Chautauqua will hold a Meet the
Candidates forum via a Zoom platform on Wednesday October 14th, 2020. The forum will be approximately 2 hours long. Two sessions, one hour each, will be recorded without an audience and uploaded to YouTube.
The event will then be broadcast the following day, Thursday October 15th on local access channel 12 in Dunkirk and Fredonia local access channel 1301. Then again on Access Chautauqua Channel 5 Saturday October 17. (Specific Times to be determined).
A YouTube link of the event will also be made available on the League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County Facebook page and on the League website my.lwv/new-york/chautauqua-county
The public is urged to email their questions for the candidates to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than midnight on Monday October 12th. The questions will be vetted by League members and submitted to the moderator of the forum. Please be specific as to which candidate(s) your questions are to be directed.
Participants will be; Candidates for Chautauqua County Executive Paul M. Wendel Jr. and Richard J. Morrisroe and Candidates for the NYS 23rd District Congressional seat Tracy Mitrano and Andrew M. Kolstee. Incumbent Tom Reed will not join as of yet.
