Lakewood Kid’s Day Invites One and All

Saturday August 22nd will be the place to be for kids of every age, but especially the young ones, from 10 to 2 all along Chautauqua Avenue in Lakewood. It’s the 6th annual Lakewood Kid’s Day!
Kid’s Day comes with breakfast and lunch. Pancakes, serial, fruit cups, oranges, toast and a whole lot more to will start the day off right for breakfast, and hot dogs, mac & cheese, grilled cheese, fries, fruit and much more will surely hit the spot for lunch.
While enjoying your day in the village, find a square, any square you like along the sidewalk, and join the sidewalk coloring contest. Lakewood has great prizes waiting for great artists.
Also on hand will be Harvey the Balloon Guy who does things nobody thought could be done with balloons. And don’t miss Calvert and Lily with the amazing Miniature Horse. Face painting waits for every kid in Lakewood on Saturday at Ryders Cup.
Kids and grown-ups alike will enjoy meeting the police and fire department K-9 corps and also enjoy a wide variety of crafts on display and for sale in the village.
Lakewood’s Kid’s Day and all of the businesses along Chautauqua Avenue welcome guests and visitors for Lakewood’s 6th annual kids stay.
