Pearl City Clay House, the new satellite location of Infinity Visual and Performing Arts, Inc., announces upcoming September classes and events at their downtown Jamestown location!
Pearl City Clay House (PCCH) is a community arts space for everyone, from the novice crafter, to the artist with years of experience under their belt. Taking a class at Pearl City Clay House will also provide support for our community’s creative youth! 100% of all Pearl City Clay House profits will support youth music and arts programming at the Infinity Visual and Performing Arts Center.
On September 9th – Join PCCH for their Fall Re-Opening with the following introductory classes:
Mini-Wheel Experience – This class will teach you how to throw on the wheel, then you’ll select your favorite pot from the session for us to glaze and fire.
Class Cost: $20. Times: 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 4:30pm.
Falling Leaves Votive – Join our instructor, Darcie, in the studio to make some adorable leaf inspired votives to brighten up your fall décor or make your holiday table extra special.
Class Cost: $10 Time: 4:00pm-5:00pm
Quilled Paper Wreaths – Come try your hand at the basics of paper quilling and make an adorable little wreath, perfect to hang on a cabinet or add to your fall decor.
Class Cost: $15 Time: 3:30pm-4:30pm
Rock-Paper-Leaf – Discover the magic of embossing this mineral-based paper with simple tools. During the workshop you will create a life-like autumn leaf you can display indoors or out.
Class Cost: $20 Time: 11:30am-12:30pm
Rebel Stitching: Fabric Coasters – Make a mug rug (AKA as a coaster) – using reclaimed fabrics and some rebel (no rules) stitching.
Class Cost: $10 Time: 1:30pm-2:30pm
September 9th at 7pm will also serve as the Opening Reception for ‘Natural Selection’. A gallery experience at PCCH featuring work from four local artists, and inspired by their love for, and time spent in nature.
Additionally, Pearl City Clay House will be open for walk-in ‘Paint Your Own Pottery’ experiences beginning Friday, September 9th from 3pm-7pm Wednesdays, 12pm-7pm Thursday & Friday, and 10am-7pm on Saturdays. PCCH will be CLOSED from September 1-September 8th.
