Enjoy a grilled hot dog or two from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 3, outside the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities (BPU) Customer Service Office, 92 Steele Street, Jamestown.

Volunteers will sell hot dogs and sodas to benefit the utility’s “Cents for St. Susan’s” fund drive. The BPU raises money for St. Susan Center at this time each year to help provide meals in spring and summer.

The public also may bring empty redeemable cans and bottles to the sale to provide more “cents” for the soup kitchen.

During the fund drive which runs through July 5, redeemable cans and bottles also may be taken to BPU Customer Service, 92 Steele Street, to benefit St. Susan Center. Cans and bottles for Cents for St. Susan’s also can be donated at Don’s Car Wash and the Southside Redemption Center.

For questions regarding the drive, please contact BPU Communications Coordinator Becky Robbins at 661-1680.
