Holiday Happenings at Ellington Library


Get a head start on your holiday calendar by remembering to mark these fun and free events happening in December at the Ellington Farman Library! We’ll start off with a live Theater presentation “Ebenezer Scrooge- the Christmas Story” presented by Traveling Lantern Theater Productions. Bring your young children aged 4 – 12 and the family for a fun, educational and professional performance on Saturday December 7th at 6:30pm. Next a Holiday Concert might be just what you need to get you in the mood. Jamestown Harmony Express will be here on Tuesday December 10th at 7:30pm. They always deliver a wonderful concert. Don’t forget the third annual Ornament Decorating Party on Saturday December 14th from 10:30 – 11:30am. We put out all the crafty materials you need and you bring the creativity! You can make ornaments to take home or to decorate the Town Tree. A little hot cocoa and donuts always helps to get the creative juices flowing. And last but not least…. Santa will be at the library on Saturday December 21st. A free pancake breakfast will be served from 8:30 – 10:30am and Santa visits from 9-10am. Enjoy breakfast with Santa, a story reading and don’t forget to tell Santa what you’d like him to bring you. Registration for the breakfast is requested. All events are free and family orientated.
