Carriage House Cinema
The award-winning independent comedy produced, written and directed by Ellington, NY resident Diana Lenska will screen at 3:00 pm Sunday July 7 at the Carriage House Cinema located at 770 West Main Street in Ellington, NY.
Lenska also stars in this dramedy set in 1948 and filmed in North Carolina. The film previewed in Washington, NC to rave reviews and has been offered several distribution deals.
The Carriage House Cinema is part of the historic “Enchanted Ellington” an 1849 historic estate consisting of the main house an 1849 Greek Revival, the attached Carriage House transformed into a quirky, unique screening venue for original independent films and two other historic buildings on the property.
The “Enchanted Ellington” and Carriage House Cinema hosts numerous creative and cultural events for the community. Recently a Royal Tea was held in the palatial reception rooms of the Enchanted Ellington for member of the “Mozart Club”. The beginning of June the “Christian Family Film Festival”, (founded by Diana Lenska) took place at the Carriage House Cinema. Filmmakers came from all over the country including overseas. A Fall festival will take place in September.
Diana Lenska is also the founder of the Chautauqua International Film Festival entering its fourth year in Jamestown, NY and screening films from all over the world. This year to take place at the Cappa Theater of the Jackson Center on July 25 and 26.
