Karen Lucks, Associate Director for the agency, says she is looking forward to this event as a way to get the word out about the Dunkirk Senior Day Program and the Latino Outreach to seniors program. “We have a wonderful program available for frail or impaired older adults who need a secure setting where they can socialize with other people, participate in supervised activities and outings, plus enjoy nutritious meals. We strive to enhance the quality of life for our seniors, allowing them to delay institutionalization and remain as independent as possible.

Our Senior Day Program also provides respite for caregivers, “Ms. Lucks said. She added, “Our goal is to also get this information out to our Latino community. Our bilingual Client Care Coordinator, Migdahlia Drohin, will be at the event to talk to any Spanish speaking community members who are interested in finding out more about how the Senior Day program can benefit them and their families.”
