The Axemen M/C NY4 is announcing the “Fill The Bus” school supply drive will be culminating their month long school supply drive with a collection point in an effort to completely fill the bus with supplies. The Axemen will be collecting supplies at friendly’s restaurant, 10 south main street on saturday september 23, 2017 between the hours of 09:00 – 3:00 pm.
The Jamestown public schools will have a bus on site and the Jamestown Fire Department will have a fire engine on location. The Axemen and families will be on hand to collect any and all donations. The Axemen are encouraging the community to drop off any new and unused pens, pencils, loose leaf paper, erasers, folders, spiral notebooks, dividers, index cards, high lighters, zipper pouches, post it notes, rulers, pencil boxes, tissues, crayons, 1” three ring binders and back packs.
The supplies will be delivered to T.E.A.M. (Teenage Education And Motherhood) program and the Jamestown – falconer schools.
These coupons will be available at all of our drop off locations, please pick one up and visit friendly’s on September 23rd and 20% of the proceeds will go to help chautauqua striders high school mentoring program.
The Axemen M/C is a group of paid professional firefighters whose mission is tohelp the community through this drive. This collection is made possible through the efforts of the JPS, FCS, BPU, United Way of SCC and the Office of Public Safety.
