Falconer Public Library is looking forward to the Don Armstrong Photography Display for March and April.
Don, a life-long resident of Western New York , spent his early years inyearsRandolph. He has won several awards for his photography, and also has the honor of having a photo in one of the Roger Tory Peterson Field Guides. Don and his wife, Betty, have raised their children in Falconer and have resided here for 50 years.
In the 1940’s, there were few photographs of his family. He vowed he was going to take photos of his own family as they were growing up . As he retired from working, photography became his passion. He prefers landscapes and nature subjects over city and urban style.
He belongs to two local photo clubs: Jamestown Audubon and the Chautauqua County Camera Club.
Falconer Public Library Hours are Monday and Tuesday 9-7, Wednesday 9-6, Thursday and Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-1.
The Display will commence March through April.
