Opening of the Fenton’s 2020 Holiday Exhibit, “The Nutcracker”

The Fenton History Center’s 2020 Holiday Exhibit “The Nutcracker”, in partnership with the Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet, opens November 27th at 10:00 am. Visit the Fenton on “Black Friday” with family and friends to tour the holiday exhibit and shop in our museum store, stocked with great gifts for the season.

The 2020 Holiday exhibit is based on the 1816 story “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” by ETA Hoffman, and Tchaikovsky’s 1892 ballet, “The Nutcracker.” View costumes used in Jamestown’s annual performance by the Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet, displayed in our historic 1864 Victorian Mansion, and experience the holiday tradition of the Nutcracker in a new way. We have also re-opened an exhibit space which has been closed to the public for almost 30 years to allow more space for this year’s exhibit.

The Fenton History Center is open for self-guided tours Monday through Saturday 10-4. Admission is $10 for adults and children under 17 and members are always free! Please wear a mask when you visit us. Questions? Please call 716-664-6256.
