Opening of the Fenton’s 2019 Holiday Exhibit, “A Christmas Carol”

The Fenton’s 2019 Holiday Exhibit Opens November 29 at 10:00 am. Visit the Fenton on “Black Friday” with family and friends to tour the holiday exhibit and shop in our museum store, stocked with great gifts for the season.

The 2019 Holiday exhibit is inspired by “A Christmas Carol” written by Charles Dickens in 1843. Tour the 150-year-old mansion transformed into London during the Industrial Revolution. Visit with the beloved characters that made so many believe in the power of the Christmas spirit. Written in six weeks in the winter of 1843 to ensure publication before Christmas, “A Christmas Carol” sold 6,000 copies in the six days between its release and Christmas Eve that same year and has never been out of print since.
