Eight Jamestown High School students were named All Western New York Scholar Athletes for the winter athletics season by Section VI. Eligible students are seniors involved in a winter sport who had a cumulative grade-point average of 90% or higher.
“We are proud of these students for their accomplishments in the classroom during a busy winter athletic season,” said Ben Drake, athletic director. “JHS has a long history of students who are dedicated to their studies, while also being dedicated to their sports. We commend these eight students on this honor.”
JHS students recognized were Jordan Braymiller (indoor track), Marley Drake (girls basketball), Trey Drake (boys basketball), Emylia Hallberg (indoor track), Colin Melendez (boys basketball), Caleb Micchiche (indoor track), Kylie O’Brien (girls basketball), and Jacob Smeraldo (indoor track).
