Creche’s FriYay Supports UPMC Chautauqua’s Newborns

For more than a century, Crèche has raised significant funding to provide for the needs of children in Chautauqua County. Each year, the Crèche Hospital Committee helps fulfill wishes from child-related departments at UPMC Chautauqua. Crèche recently had a FriYay Fundraising event at the S. Tier Distillery on June 3rd. They asked their members to donate baby items such as diapers, clothing, and gift cards.

Each year, Crèche evaluates the needs from the department manager and decides along with Crèche ’s hospital committee which needs would benefit the children the most. “We have been very lucky to have Crèche ’s commitment to support the needs of our children at UPMC Chautauqua,” stated Megan Barone, director of development. “They have been able to give the children hope, happiness and safety from their gifts. We are very grateful they continue to do the great work for the children in our community, and hope it continues for many years to come.”
