Crèche volunteers will be tagging at both Brigiotta’s locations (Storefront on Fairmount Ave. & the Garden Center on Livingston Ave.) this weekend in honor of Mother’s Day. Crèche members and volunteers will be asking community members to generously “Help a Needy Child” by making a donation to their canisters. Crèche is a local women’s not-for-profit organization that has been serving the needs of area children and their families for over 100 years. Some of its many projects include providing pediatric medical equipment and other items for UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital, cribs, baby items and clothing for newborns and children, gifts and baskets at Christmas time, as well as funds for children to attend area summer camps, to name a few. Since Crèche is a totally volunteer organization, 100 percent of the monies raised by the group go toward helping children in these much needed capacities throughout the year. The upcoming Tag Days are Crèche’s major fundraising effort. Please give generously when you see the canisters decorated with “Crèche children.” You may also help by sending a financial donation to: The Crèche, Inc., P.O. Box 0601, Jamestown, NY 14702-0601.
