City of Jamestown Staff and City Councilmembers presented Saint
Susan’s Center the donations received through the parking ticket amnesty program that took place October 1st through October 31st, 2020.

The amnesty program was proposed by Councilmember Vickye James and allowed residents with unpaid parking tickets to have late penalties waived if they brought in unopened packages of non-perishable boxed or canned food items; school supplies, or supplies for the elderly.

The total amount collected in ticket fees during the amnesty came to $1,520 with $2,830 in ticket fees being dismissed. Six large boxes of canned goods and supplies were donated to St. Susan’s Center. Those who wish to make donations to St. Susan’s Center may contact the Center at (716) 664-2253 or visit them online at stsusancenter.org.
