City of Jamestown Extends City Hall Closure Suspension of Parking Regulations, Parking Garages Until April 15

The City of Jamestown is extending the closure of City Hall, the suspension of downtown parking regulations, and the closure of parking garages until April 15, 2020. Monthly alternate parking regulations will go into effect tomorrow, April 1, 2020 as planned.

Mayor Sundquist in a statement said, “As we continue to fight this pandemic, the need to extend the closures of City buildings to ensure the safety of City residents and employees are evident. In conjunction with New York State, we will reassess our actions in a few weeks and announce if a further extension of closures and limiting actions beyond April 15th are necessary. I would like to thank all City residents for adhering to social distancing guidelines and allowing essential workers to do their best to keep our community functioning during this difficult time.”
