The Children’s Activity Corner of Jamestown is growing!  Formerly known as Children’s Museum of Jamestown, is expanding to four times its size. Thanks to a very generous donation of children’s museum equipment and displays from Explore and More Children’s Museum of E. Aurora, NY. Explore and More is moving to Canalside in Buffalo to an all new building with mostly brand new displays.

These displays will be a wonderful addition to the growing ‘Activity Corner’ at 14 E 2nd Street, Jamestown. We can’t thank them enough! The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Children’s Museum at Canalside will open in April.

In receiving this donation we need the help of the community! Volunteers are needed at 14 E 2nd Street Saturday 3/30 6pm and Sunday 3/31 at 9 am to unload and reassemble the displays. Nothing is heavy and no stairs. First floor only. The ‘Activity Corner’ will be closed the first week of April to arrange, clean, and get ready for the first children to enjoy our new offerings.

We look forward to bringing these exciting hands-on play displays to all Jamestown, Chautauqua County, and surrounding area families. Again
