Chautauqua Mall will host several unique, family-friendly events this February to help Chautauqua County spread the love.
Chautauqua Mall’s Valentine’s Day-themed events, including Shop with Your Pet Valentine Edition, Bestie Bash Hearts & Crafts and #PostYourLove, will offer ways to celebrate friendship, love and positivity through creative expression and acts of kindness.
Chautauqua Mall’s KidX Club® will host a Hearts & Crafts Bestie Bash celebration on Saturday, Feb. 6 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. in center court. As a unique way to celebrate friendship, Bestie Bash will give children and their families the opportunity to pick up a to-go kit of crafts to create meaningful gifts and Valentines for their loved ones and best friends from the comfort of home. From friendship bracelets to classic Valentine’s Day cards, Bestie Bash is the perfect way to celebrate friendship.
Bestie Bash is held in partnership with KidX Club®, a program that sponsors free events to inspire children to connect with their families and explore their surrounding world.
On Saturday, Feb. 6 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Chautauqua Mall will host Arts & Hearts, where guests can treat themselves, a friend, or significant other through DIY crafts. Arts & Hearts will take place in the private party room at Sakura Buffet. Led by local art teacher, Jenny Brown, guests will create a Valentine’s Day-themed painting, while sipping a glass of their favorite beer. Jenny will lead guests though a step-by-step painting class to complete a painting that can be used as a gift, home décor or just a way to unwind with friends. Tickets for this event are $10 which will be donated to the Chautauqua County Humane Society. Each ticket includes 2 glasses of beer and all the supplies necessary to create an 11″ x 14″ canvas keepsake. Guests can visit https://bit.ly/36ksIor to purchase tickets.
Chautauqua Mall will also host a Shop with Your Pet event on Saturday, Feb. 6 from noon – 4 p.m. This Valentine’s themed edition of the popular Shop with Your Pet event allows guests to bring their well-behaved dogs on leashes to the mall with them to shop and get some exercise. Guests will receive a free goodie bag with treats for their furry best friends, while supplies last. Chautauqua Mall encourages guests to show their love and support for the Chautauqua County Humane Society by bringing in a non-perishable pet item donation.
Chautauqua Mall will continue to spread positivity, both physically and virtually, this year. Just like in years past, Chautauqua Mall will host the interactive art display #PostYourLove, where guests are encouraged to handwrite notes of love, affirmation, encouragement or even just a simple ‘I love you’ on sticky Post-It notes near center court. Guests are also encouraged to share their notes virtually by using #PostYourLove.
Chautauqua Mall remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. All Valentine’s Day events will follow Chautauqua Mall’s COVID-19 safety protocols, including rigorous disinfectant and cleaning practices.
