The Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services (CCOFAS) today announced the County’s new partnership with Blooming Health, a platform that better connects the Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services with older adults in the county through voice calls, text message, and email – available in 26 different languages. Using Blooming Health, the county is able to connect with older adults where they are and better communicate information about aging services. This will enable older people to receive timely assistance, nutrition support, and educational information to stay physically and mentally active.
The Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services is dedicated to serving older adults and their families, ensuring they can age well and independently within their own homes and communities. Through Blooming Health’s comprehensive services, the CCOFAS aims to strengthen its engagement with older adults, providing them with essential information and assistance while learning about their needs and help address them in a timely manner.
Blooming Health’s remote engagement solution has been proven to help community-based aging service providers proactively connect with older adults and enhance their service utilization. Several Community Based Organizations and Area Agencies for Aging using Blooming Health’s platform have experienced a threefold increase in service utilization while saving staff members two hours per day on reduced outreach tasks.
The Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services (CCOFAS) has already started utilizing Blooming Health’s platform for some of their key programs, including Dining In and Dining Out Meal services, the Caregiver Support program and Medicare Counseling.
