White Cane Awareness Day is Saturday, October 15. The white cane is the universal symbol of blindness or visual impairment.
Join CBA Vision Rehabilitation Services and friends at the White Cane Awareness Day Walk on Saturday, October 15, starting at the Clarion Hotel at 30 Lakeshore Dr. E, Dunkirk, NY, at 10 AM. CBA Vision Rehabilitation Services provides services to the legally blind in Cattaraugus and Chautauqua Counties.
The walk will proceed down Lakeshore Dr. to Memorial Park where supporters can learn more about the white cane, try their hand at walking with the cane, and enjoy meeting others who support our services. Refreshments will be served.
All in attendance can enter a drawing for 4 ice bumper car passes at the Northwest Arena and a free large Domino’s pizza.
