The light feels as if it truly returns at the beginning of February.
Audubon Community Nature Center is celebrating The Return of the Light on Sunday, February 9, 2020, 1:30-4 p.m.
This Wheel of the Year program is a series of activities and lessons by Karen Hansen of Samsara Yoga Center that will enlighten and enliven you and your connection to the natural world.
Though a brief discussion about the Wheel of the Year and humanity’s link to the solar calendar and nature, experiential practice with movement, mindfulness and guided meditation, and a journaling (or other creative) activity, you can strengthen your connection to the natural world. Activities will include both body and mind, bringing you more in tune with the natural world and easing stress.
Plan to come dressed for the weather, as part of this program includes outdoor guided meditation and reflection.
