Early Voting for County Democrats, Libertarians & Busti Republicans Starts this Saturday in Mayville for County Primaries

While the Chautauqua County Board of Elections continues to strongly encourage Democrats, Libertarians and Busti Republicans to vote by mail for the upcoming June 23rd county primary, early voting will start this Saturday in Mayville.

Due to the pandemic, early voting for the June 23rd primary will only be available at the Board of Elections, 7 N Erie St. Mayville. The Nov. 3rd General Election will find expanded early voting available at the County Fair Grounds, Dunkirk and the Chautauqua Mall, Lakewood.

Early voting will be available at the Board of Elections the next two weekends Sat-Sun Noon to 5 p.m. and next week starting June 15th Mon-Tue Noon to 8 p.m. and Wed-Thu-Fri 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. No early voting will be available Mon. June 22nd, the day before THE primary.
June 23rd Primary voting will be available 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at all county poll sites. Only registered Democrats, Libertarians and Busti Republicans have primary elections. All voters will be required to wear a protective mask and to observe social distancing, so as to protect poll workers and other voters. Complimentary facemasks will be given to voters who need one.

Anyone with a primary still wishing to vote by mail may call the Board of Elections at 716-753-4552 or e-mail vote@co.chautauqua.ny.us and a ballot will be mailed without need of an application due to the pandemic.

Voters wishing to view early voting and primary day results should visit votechautauqua.com starting at 9 p.m. June 23. However, since the majority of votes cast will be through the mail, absentees will not be added to the totals until the afternoon of June 30th.
