The Axemen MC is announcing it’s “fill the bus” school supply fundraiser. The collection is an effort to help prepare the youth and the educators in the Jamestown & falconer school districts with supplies necessary to facilitate their education. This year we have brought aboard t.e.a.m ( teenage education and motherhood) program, which is headed up through the ymca and jhs. The axemen mc is a group of iaff professional firefighters whose mission is to help the community through this drive. The collection Is made possible through the efforts of the axemen in cooperation with jps, fcs, Jamestown bpu, city of Jamestown office of public safety, united way of southern Chautauqua county, Chautauqua striders, cummins engine of Jamestown & Harley Davidson of jamestown.
The group will be collecting pens, pencils ,erasers, folders, spiral notebooks, dividers, index cards, highlighters, back packs, zipper pouches, post it notes, pencil boxes. Rulers, tissues, crayons, wide/college ruled filler paper and 1”-3” 3 ring binders.
The collection starts august 2017 and ends September 23, 2017. Distribution will commence the week of the 25th.
The public can bring their donations to any one of our drop off locations through out the area. OUR bins are located at all the banks, credit unions, true value hardware, south side redemption center & Harley Davidson of Jamestown.
