Your 5–11 year-old(s) can run off some energy at Audubon Community Nature Center Thanksgiving Camp while you prepare for the next day’s festivities.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, they can experience crisp weather and crunchy leaves, animals storing and gathering food, and plants ready to spend the winter safely in a state of dormancy.

Campers are both learning and playing as they explore outdoors, play, climb, run, and engage their senses with late fall discoveries.

Children should bring water, snacks and a lunch that does not need refrigeration, as well as extras of anything that might get wet. They will be outside for as much of the day as possible, so they need to be dressed to be comfortable in the forecasted weather.

Cost for the day is $48 for ages 5–11 or $36 for Nature Center member children. Additional siblings receive a $5 discount. Note that, due to staffing, this is a different age range for campers from the usual.

Enrollment is limited. Paid reservations are required by Monday, November 20.
