Artists from the Aspire of Western NY iXpress Art Program are hosting an exhibit of their extraordinary works beginning February 3rd at Ryders Cup, 28 Chautauqua Avenue, Lakewood. This diverse exhibit features works by artists with physical and developmental disabilities and is part of their ongoing “Aspiring Artists” series. The exhibit is on display for a month and contains acrylic, watercolor and mixed media pieces, as well as “Trashe´” Art.
The iXpress Art Program is provided by Aspire of Western New York. The art program allows the individuals to express their creativity with painting, drawing, clay work, collage, music and film. Their desire to express themselves is not limited by their disabilities and the work they produce is nothing short of awe inspiring!
