The Jamestown Savings Bank Arena is happy to announce the return of the Wits n’ Giggles Stand-Up Comedy Series with the first show date set for  Friday September 6.

Eight shows are scheduled for every other Friday night, taking the series to December 13. With a new show time of 8 – 10pm, there will be a  pre-show Happy Hour featuring $1 draft beers inside Sully’s Irish Pub  starting at 6pm. You must have a ticket to the comedy show and be of  legal drinking age to take advantage of Sully’s Happy Hour drinking specials. Sully’s will also have a full dinner menu available.

The first show of the series on Friday, September 6, will feature stand-up comedy from Joel Lindley and Nick Marra.

Joel Lindley is a native of Brighton, NY who now works the comedy circuit all across the country. Lindley has appeared on TV shows like Boston Public, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Evening at the Improv,  MTV’s Half Hour Comedy Show, Comix Strip Live, Comedy Central’s 2 Drink Minimum and more. Joel pulls comedy out of the dark side of life and has been making people laugh for years.

Nick Marra has been entertaining crowds with his down-to-earth comedy for over 20 years. Drawing on his experiences from growing up in an Italian Catholic home, to his current family comprised of one son in college, one son in high school and one daughter in preschool, audiences easily relate to his quirky observations.

You must be 18 or older to attend.

Tickets for the comedy series are $10 presale while $12 on the day of the show. There is also an option to purchase a $70 Season Pass, granting admission to all eight shows. Season passes are available now at the Arena Box Office or by calling 716-484-2624. Individual show tickets will be available starting Tuesday, September 3.

There is also a special $5 individual show ticket price for Jamestown Community College students with a valid college ID.

The public is encouraged to purchase their tickets ahead of time in order to secure a spot since space is limited, and for larger groups, call ahead to reserve seating.
