On Wednesday, October 19 at 6:00 PM, Good Neighbor Bookstore (124 Chautauqua Ave. Lakewood) will host Canadian novelist Ray Robertson to discuss Robertson’s latest novel, Estates Large and Small. This event, which will include a book signing, is free and open to the public and will also feature free wine samples provided by Bag & String Wine Merchants.

Ray Robertson is the author of nine novels, four collections of non-fiction, and a book of poetry. His work has been translated in several languages. The National Post has described Robertson as, “One of the country’s finest literary voices.”

Estates Large and Small follows a struggling used bookstore owner as he navigates a pandemic, a new love, and tackling 2,500 years of philosophy to try to determine what exactly is the point of life.

“Ray joined us last year for a virtual author event to discuss, How to Die: A Book About Being Alive, and it was one of our most popular events.” Good Neighbor Bookstore owner, Bob Lingle said. “We look forward to hosting both Ray and the community in person this time around.”
