LOGISTICS: The AAUW What’s New Fair will be held at the Hamilton Collegiate Center (student union) on the JCC campus on Saturday, November 11, and Sunday, November 12. Hours on Saturday are 10 am-5 pm and on Sunday, 11 am- 3 pm. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for JCC/JBC Students with ID, $1 for children 6-12; children 5 and under admitted free. Ample parking is available on the JCC Campus.

MERCHANTS: Sixty merchants and vendors who are participating at the Fair form a variety of businesses and service organizations. Visit all the booths and be entered to win a $50 gift card.

FAIR PROCEEDS: Proceeds are awarded as scholarships to female JCC and JBC graduates who are pursuing four-year degrees. More than $400,000 of AAUW What’s New Fair proceeds have been given to over 300 young women in the area since 1955. These scholarships have given women the opportunity to pursue their dreams through higher education.

ENTERTAINMENT: Visit with Santa and Mrs. Santa Claus both days.

FOOD: Enjoy personalized gingerbread cookies at the AAUW Gingerbread House. Cookies are $2 each or 3 for $5. Enjoy delicious home-baked delectables such as pies, brownies, cookies, fudge, candy at our Sweet Shoppe. JCC Food Service will provide café service during the Fair.

RAFFLE PRIZES: Cost $1 per ticket or $5 for 7 tickets, $10 for 20 tickets. Drawing Sunday 2:30 p.m. You do not need to be present to win. Donors include: Chautauqua Bookstore, SeeZurh House, Urban Spin, Forge Health, Off the Beaten Path Bookstore, JCC Campus Store, Ryders Cup of WNY, Snap Fitness, Cala Lily Yarn and Gift, Lakewood Apothecary, Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy, Blue Fin Pets and Jewelry, The Pub, Girton’s Flowers and Gifts, Lucille Ball Little Theater, Jamestown Concert Association, Community Music Project, Audubon Community Nature Center, Forte, Dirty Pretty Things, Eight Limbs, Salon 1, JB Liquor Shoppe

DOOR PRIZES: Each hour throughout the Fair, a door prize will be drawn from the Fair admission tickets. These prizes are donated by the participating merchants. Winners must be present.

AAUW MEMBERSHIP: To become an AAUW member, a minimum of a two-year degree from an accredited college is required. Stop by the AAUW membership booth at the AAUW What’s New Fair. The membership annual fee is reduced to $45.50 if a new member joins at the Fair (checks/cash are accepted).
