Babe Ruth World Series
The Babe Ruth World Series Board of Directors is proud to announce the upcoming 37th Annual World Series of Wheels to be held in Jamestown on Saturday July 23rd, 2022 (rain date of Sunday July 24th) with major sponsor Dave Warren Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Dave Warren has been a great major sponsor of the event and we could not be happier to have him back as the Major Sponsor. The World Series of Cars was started in 1984 as a way to help defray the expense of hosting a Babe Ruth World Series here in Jamestown and was one of the premier shows for antique judged cars. Over the years we have evolved into the newly formed World Series of Wheels to reflect all vehicles and in addition to power sports. Jamestown has been successful not only in this car show, but also in hosting 18 World Series events from 1980-2021. The show was conceived in 1984 to help defray the expense of hosting a Babe Ruth World Series here in Jamestown. Each one of these series has showcased young baseball talent from all over the United States in addition to bringing a very significant economic boost to the Jamestown area. The event will run from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with the admission of $3.00 per person over 12.
In addition to the major sponsor of Dave Warren Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, we are proud to have the Senior Sponsor of Chautauqua Pools & Power Sports back for another year. Their continued support is truly appreciated not only to the WS of Wheels but also to the Babe Ruth World Series in Jamestown.
The World Series of Wheels is one of the primary fundraising events for the Babe Ruth World Series and this year’s 37th Annual show to be held in Bergman Park on Baker Street in Jamestown will be no exception. Like in 2019 this year will include a participant judged show. This show has been recognized for many years as one of the premier automotive events in Western New York and we hope to continue and grow that reputation.
In addition to the judged participants, there will be a swap meet, kids bounce house, food and craft vendors as well as live music. Thank you as well to Cummins Engine, State Farm Insurance – David Snow, and Vertical Limits Kustom Hot Rod Shop for your continued primary sponsorship.
Registration Forms for vehicle entry and Craft and Vendor Fair are available on our website, www.worldseriesofwheels.com. There is also information on our website and Facebook page about the car show in general. Additional questions and information can also be addressed to Kim at 716-664-0405.
